The breakfasts
In our house there is no rush for breakfast and we will not make you eat early either. Breakfast time is our favorite time of the day. You can come down to the dining room from 9am until 11am.
We will serve you breakfast in a personalized way, table by table, we do not have a buffet. In this way we adapt to your preferences and needs, and we can be more sustainable in order not to waste food.
The breakfast we will prepare for you will always be based on local and seasonal products. That is why it may vary and be different depending on the availability of each producer and the time of year.
Al esmorzars del Barber hi trobaràs:
- Breads from different artisanal workshops in La Garrotxa: country bread, corn bread, ancient flours, with seeds, with cereals or gluten-free buckwheat bread, among many others.
- Traditional cured and cooked sausages, gluten-free or lactose-free.
- Otto, eggs with bacon, scrambled eggs…
- Cheeses made in-house by our La Xiquella cheese factory, in the same Vall d’en Bas.
- Yogurts from La Fageda.
- Homemade butter.
- Jams from Can Bech (l’Empordà) without artificial colorings or additives of any kind, made with the best selection of fresh fruit.
- Raw honey from la Garrotxa.
- Artisanal and homemade sweets (baker’s cake, gingerbread, wheat muffins, buckwheat muffins…).
- Options for vegans: sesame paste, olive paste, carob and hazelnut cream, fruit, etc.
- Vegetarian milk and drinks.
- Mooma apple and tangerine juices, 100% natural, made in Baix Empordà.
